black mercedes cls 500 paint help

im in the process of detailing my brothers black cls 500.. but nothing wants to cut those swirls.. this is what i have tried


EC/HC/OHC/OC on cutting pads
OC/IP/EC on light cutting pads


the only thing that seems to hide the swirls is

Poli seal on polishing pad


does anyone know why? what is up with this mercedes paint

It's ceramic clear and on the hard side. Have any Menzerna polishes?

i have ip, fpii, and 106ff

i already tried IP on a light cutting pad

You're working with a PC? You might give it a shot with an orange pad and the 106 to see where that gets you but it's likely going to take you a while if the swirling is more than light-moderate. This might be a job that would be MUCH quicker with a rotary and Powergloss.

yeah i know but i dont have a rotary.. ill try the 106ff with an orange pad.. i was thinking maybe OP with a polshing pad?

I would also recommend Menzerna on the Mercedes' ceramic clear coat.
