Tire detailing primer

I've neglected washing/protecting my tires and rims. The rest of the car looks great, but the rims and tires need some help. I've read through all the posts over the last two weeks about sealers/protectants/cleaners for the wheels, but I'm not sure where to start.

Is there a primer that will take me from A to Z for complete wheel care?

thanks in advance.

Try www.autopia-carcare.com for the ebook.

A quick tip I haven't seen anywhere else is to wetsand any curb rash off of the tires, assuming this is a safe thing to do (?). I did it with some success on one of my tires but have to find the proper grit fo finish it up with.

Ok, in a nutshell, here's what you can do immediately assuming you have a Kmart, Walmart, etc, ...go buy

- Eagle One Tire Cleaner.
- Eagle One A-Z Wheel Cleaner.
- Eagle One Protectant.

Use them in the order I listed. Follow the directions. Again, follow the directions. Did I mention to follow the directions?

So, assuming you followed the directions, you WILL have tires and wheels that are as good as anything you have seen on this site. I promise.

Hang around on this site, search around, and you'll see thousands of messages about tire and wheel care, as well as a thousand different opinions. The stuff I listed will get you going until you decide on other stuff you might like to try.
