will it cause problems if I wax half the hood with one product and half with another?

what I'd like to do is prepare half of my hood with zaino (once it arrives) and the other half with meguiar's medallion (my current product).

what I'm worried about is a permanent change (notice I didn't say damage) between the two sides. I'm hoping that washing with dawn after the comparison will bring both sides back to the same state they were in prior to the comparison. if it matters, I plan to leave both products on for 3-4 months.

I did half my hood with Klasse and the other half with Meguiar's Gold Class for my wax testing. Your clearcoat should provide protection from UV if you haven't polished the protective layers off. I think it is fine to do it.

I think you will have no problems getting the sides to look the same afterwards as long as you wash with Dawn and then use a pre cleanser of some sort. Please let us know how your comparison test goes.
