For some reason fairly small streaks of white paint ended up on the rear glass of my subaru. I've tried scrapping it off with razor blade, used paint thinner, bleach, stoner invisible glass cleaner, all didn't work. Should i try to polish the glass?? Or maybe use the thinner again but leave it a lot longer on the glass. What sucks is the thinner evaporates when i only put a thin coat on the paint. If i put too much the thinner liquid will just slide down and touches the paint, arrrrgh!! is there a better way?? These are very stubborn streaks of white paint on the rear glass! Or maybe its not even paint since its sooo hard to scrape off. Please help!

But now these semi-transparent streaks are very very hard to remove, even with razor blade. I will give it a second look with a magnifying glass to make sure that they are not scratches on the glass.

Try not to get any on your paint, or at least be ready to wash it off quickly if it does. You can soak a small cloth in the solvent and lay that on a streak to try and soften it up. I'm thinking it might be something like super glue if a razor blade has a hard time with it.
I've also used some stuff called Goof Off that works pretty well on some stuff. I bought it at Wal-Mart: ValsparŪ Goof-Off
Good luck and let us know what you find out.

I just found out that the streaks are actually scratches on the glass. That is why it has been a pain to get it off. Anyway, anybody here knows a way to repair scratches on glass?? Is there a pro detailer or an auto glass shop around los angeles who do this service?? I think a glass polisher might do the trick, but i'm not sure though. Thank you for all the help suggestions guys!!

Eastwood makes a kit you can look at: Eastwood Company: Auto Tools, Body Repair, Classic Car Restoration, House of Kolor Paint, Powder Coating
You might want to call around to some glass shops and see what they offer.
