one of my regulars is bugging the crap out of my to get a stain out of his seat belt. could be coffee?? any suggestions on how to get stains out of seatbelts without harming them?

You might want to try Folex....I had a coffee stain in the passenger seat of my Ford Ranger and the Folex removed all traces.

Folex also pulled a 1 year old coffee stain out of my Tahoe carpet.

Folex or Kids n Pets will do it. If that dont work...you can try a vapor steamer. I have a TR5 which kick arse

Almost any low pH solution will neutralize reg coffee stains (vinegar) decaf is more problematic!

FYI, DOT cautions against cleaning seatbelts, as use of 'harsh' chemicals will degrade the integrity of the fabric in the belt... potentially severe liability issues - in theory, anyway.

For sure vinegar will work. You could also try a vapor cleaner - even a cheapie (Scunci)from TV will work on a stain like that.

I would also throw in a vote for the steamer if you have access to one. Santa brought me a Daimer this year and I am still having fun finding places around the vehicles and house to use it, amazing.

Oxi-Clean Miracle Foam/Oxi-clean. You can get it in a spray bottle. This stuff just cleaned "melted butter" stains out of a cotton shirt!!!!!!!!
If any one can top this than use there suggestion, because I have never seen anything that would remove butter stains, except for a pair of scisors!
I bought it last year I "Think" from Target, call them before you go.
