How many times is it safe to SMR and BF polish?

I already did my car with FI-II and the yellow pad, then 2x with the smr and white pad, and 2x bf polish with the white pad in the past week. I came to realize i did something wrong with the BF and tomorrow i'm going to strip it to hopefully get rid of the maring. Is it safe to polish and SMR again? The car is a 2000 civic, with a clear coat (at least on the portion that wasn't repainted before i got it that the dealer failed to tell me....) I'll be sure and post pics too. (i know those of you who saw the extremly dirty ones in the "now for something completely different" thread in the member pics section)

repainted? and the dealer didnt clear coat it? I would demand them to repaint the car or that certain area with clear coat(I'm guessing it was the bumper). Where I work, salesman back cars into other cars daily. You should see our body shop list, hehe.

yea i didn't find out untill a few months after i got it. one of the side parts isn't original (and the car only had 11k miles) it was repainted. I'm fairly sure they didn't clearcoat it because when i used my polish on that side it started turning black, the rest of the car it didn't. After i showed the dealership it was repainted (when i found out) they gave me an extra warrenty on the paint... I'm going to call tomorrow and see if i can't get a new paint job out of that... (car appears to of been in a wreck which they didn't tell me abou t either.. even though one of the guys who had to replace the engine the 1st week i had it saw some signs). I could really use a new paint job... i just have a feeling they would do a crappy job.
