What speed to run PC?

What speed should the PC be run?

Does it vary by product being applied?

Inquiring minds want to know.

For a polish like 3M SMR, I start at 2.5 to 3 and as the paint starts to buff out I run it up to 4 or 4.5.

For waxing there's no need to run it above 2.0

There should be no reason to run the PC above 5.
