Griots Random Orbital

I ordered a Griot's Garage Random Orbital buffer last night, I then found this site today. The question is did I make a mistake in my descion? Yes I'm a newbie

good decision to but the orbital, maybe bad decision buying it from griots. Just because it was probably way over priced. I'd cancel. You'll be able to find a PC at lowes for less money.

Supposedly it oscillates faster than the PC, not sure if is actually more powerful though.

I order one of the new Griot's radom orbit polishers. I did not like the feel and felt it was too big. It does feel like it has more tork in the motor . I did not like were the on off switch was and the size and the backing plate design I returned mine feeling in another year they will work the bugs out and improve it or another version will appear on the market.

I will stick up for a competitor here. You made a SMART move buying it from Griots despite what anyone tells you. Why? If it *ever* breaks -- EVER -- they will replace it for no charge for life. That orbital isnt the best in quality, it's nice, but it's no Porter-Cable. It will still do the job just fine but the quality/breakage factor is there and with Griots you wont have to worry about it. They've been in business long enough where a lifetime warranty from them is meaningful enough to mean it too.

That is very true. I remember Joe used and wasn't full satisfyed so he got a full refund.
