Any Winter Preparations needed????

Hey guys. I live in MA and my car is outside throughout most of the winter (other cars are priority in my house apparently). With the cold and snow coming, is there anything I should do to prevent too much damage (paint/trim/ ect..). I detail the car religiously, but seem to notice alot of new scratches/marring after the harsh weather. Let me know what you think, Thanks...

hehehe...can you tell what my new favorite is?

regarding the new scratches and marring you are seeing, you need to evaluate your wash process and equipment used. make sure to go with a soft sheepskin mitt and 2 bucket method...also check out ONR for washing in your garage during winter.

Move south? lol

- Apply a good LSP (known for durability) now if you haven't already.
- Develop a plan for winter washing (I'm going with ONR and coin-op as/if necessary).
- keep it as clean as you can.
- Go easy with the snow brush and only remove any snow that is absolutely necessary and only let the brush touch the snow, not the paint.
