Pro detailing shops with gravel parking lot??
Registered User
There is a detailing shop that I pass everyday to and from work. Their building looks just a step above a portable building. It is enclosed by the clear plastic panels which are opened most of the time. The facility looks decent but the parking lot and entrance is gravel.
I can't see paying them to detail my vehicle then have to drive it out through the dust.
Another thing that bothers me is that wind can easily carry the dirt and dust particles to the surface of the vehicle. This to me seems like a sure fire recipe to scratch induction rather than removal.
Yes, my Autopian mentality is surely the reason I notice something like this. Would you wonder or feel the same

Makes sense to me. I could easily see stones flying from the tire of a car leaving the lot and hitting one that's still there.
