detail shop in nyc or around for removing swirl marks.

i tried so many different things to get rid of these damn swirl marks but they wont come oiut does anyone know any good shop in or around nyc or northern new jersey that can do a good job detailing? everytime i let someone do it it seems like it looks good for a week, i wash it and then all the swirl marks come back more vibrant then ever, i am willing to pay as long as i get to avoid a new paint job. 04 escalade by the way

Just something to think about is your wash method too as well as the color. If it looks good for a week thats not right either, the paint shouldnt lose all that appearance in 1 wash. I am in PA, sorry I cant help you out.

First, examine your wash method. Then, take it to a reputable shop and just have them polish out a panel on your car. Wait as long as needed(weeks) and judge for yourself. If the swirls stay gone - bingo. I'm doing a black Escalade in a couple of weeks, I let you know what happens after.

What have you been doing to get rid of the swirls? (sounds like you've been using fillers that just don't last.)
Can't help much on the NYC question, but there has to be alot of detailers in and around the city. Body shops also do polishing/buffing.

What color is your truck also? I think we should examine your wash method and then read up here ob the topics. Lots of good stuff. And of course you may just be looking for someone to do it which is cool. Lots of good people here. I am sure someone could help you. I am 2 hours from NYC or I would have you bring it by.

i refuse to use a buffer cause of the damage that can be done to the paint, i have never done it myself and refuse to do it. id rather have a professional, i havent tried much just a bunch of different hand waxes and stuff put on by hand. id rather pay the $200 to have it buffed by a professional then have a $4,000 paint job cause of me damaging paint on the vehicle.
