Lotus Elise...

Just curious if anyone can give me some sort of idea of what it is like to detail a firetruck red Lotus Elise? How's the paint (hard, soft, weird), what's the most difficult part about detailing one (I'm guessing the curves make it difficult to keep the pad's flat on the surface), and how should I go about detailing the Starshield (it's a clearbra supplied from the Lotus factory)...can I clay bar, polish, wax, etc...the bra or what? Thanks everyone and when I'm done with it I will post pics of it!

the last few new lotus threads i have read have stated the clear is nearly as hard as the new MB cercamic clear coats.

most have been recomending blackfires ceramic polishes and compounds for them. But i personally have no exp with lotus. yet. hopefully soon. so do a search in the click and brag section.
