Big Blue drying towel prep and care?

Just got my Big Blue Towel from CMA. I've used a chamois all my life, and know the prep needed for that. Is there any prep I need to do to the BBT besides removing the tag? Any ongoing care I need to do? Like washing, etc?

I did a search, read 2 reviews, but saw nothing about prep of the towel or ongoing care.

Welcome to the Forum!

I would wash it first in hot water with tide or another non bleach non fabric softner detergent. Dry it alone on med. heat with no cotton products in the dryer to prevent lint. Then you are good to go.

This will remove any lint it may have. I wash my MFs together after I have used them. I would not store it wet as you could get mold or other cruddy stuff.

As with what GMN said above. You can (and should) wash your towels before use. I wash mine after each detailing session.

Some people prefer to dry their towels by line drying, but I prefer to use a medium heat setting on the dryer and remove them before they are completely dry (to minimize static).

I clean my BBT the same as my other mf towels.

Welcome!!
