turtle wax rubbing & polish compound..??

thinking about using these for my neglected 96 sentra with a Rotary. bad idea? certainly these are the cheapest @ only $ 2 each!

If this is the white goop in a tub, its meant to be used by hand.

I seriously doubt that it yeild good results with a rotary, as it lacks the proper oils to sustain the heat.

However, if the paint is already so bad that it almost doesn't matter whether you ruin it or improve it, then give it a shot.

I saw them on sale for $.99 this past week, so I picked up one of each. I was surprised to see it printed on one of them that they were recommended to professionals with high speed polishers.

I say give it a try. Keep a spray bottle of water close by and be prepared to get some splatter. You might even want to rinse down the car after you finish.

Good luck, If you try it let us know how it goes. I'm a bit curious myself to try, so I might be able to tell you by the end of the weekend.
