TST 5000 Anyone heard of it?

My workmate has been given Some cleaner and car wash from a "professional" Kit called TST 5000 with Teflon. It's supposed to be applied by dealers and is a sealant that lasts "at least five years"
Have any of you guys heard of it? Apparently the firm hails from Pittsburgh.
Many thanks, Peter

Do a search on Teflon and you will find a lot of information on why it needs something like 400 degree to bond. I wish these 5 year products worked but if they did it would be the number one topic on this forum.

I did a couple searches, and these are some of the sites that came up...

http://www.absolutecarcare.com/exteriordetail.html

This is the best one...http://www.advancedmc.com/tst.htm

Looks like you need a high speed rotary buffer for this...

I'll stay away from that myself thanks..

A very high-speed rotary buffer. From the advancedmc website:

Each vehicle is thoroughly cleaned - not just the surface, but through the paint and primer...

How does one clean through the paint and primer? Maybe they use that flamethrower afterall
