Bringing a mirror shine to my black tsx

Nice! Sounds like you're definitely addicted! Detailing has definitely left a dent in my wallet. I have a bunch of stuff that I purchased that I haven't even opened yet! My family cars are all looking real good as I need more vehicles to try out new products on.

I'd wait on buying all that at once. Not only is it a huge dent in your wallet, but there's a lot to be said for actually trying some stuff before you dive into the deep end. It's much easier to get into detailing one step at a time. It's great that you want to dive in, but a gradual slide will save you some money and probably make it a bit more enjoyable.
Also, especially for building up a stock, some of Autogeek's kits can save you a bit of money.

When I first got my new car, I ended up spending about the same amount. But it was a $100 order from one vendor, another $70-80 order from another vendor, a $50 purchase at a local store and before I know it, I've spent enough to get my car a full interior and exterior detail a few time over! I've been purchasing stuff online, so I tend to add stuff to combine shipping. I know I've purchased at least 2 FK1 products that I already have another similar product for but threw in justifying it by the flat shipping cost

the pads and pc set me back a good 300, especially becasue i ordered a bunch of 4 inch pads with it. But i look at it this way, this initial investment, will allow me to make smaller purchases down the line, the only thing i'd worry about now is new forumlas and maybe pads, but i have the pc, backing plates, car washing tools etc.

Yeah things add up quick...I just dropped 500 last March, 145 for a Karcher last week, and 250 today...GOOD GOD I'm going to be poor. Have fun with making the TSX sparkle! Nighthawk Black Pearl is by far my favorite black other than Porsche's Black Onyx and Mercedez Benz's black.

I would be really carefull about the pc from amazon. I ordered mine and it broke within a few hours. Then my dad told me he read another review on amazon saying his broke within an hour also.

Ive already spent more then $1,000 on my supplies.

First order I made was just over $300, got the PC, some better MF cloths, pads, and Klasse Twins. I just picked up a Bissell machine today and tested it out, works great!! And all I have to thank is this site! Its been almost exactly a month and a half since I started looking into detailing and gotten to where I am so quickly!
