What the hell happened?!?!?!

I cleaned it off (assuming it was bird poop, though it was dark orange colored) as soon as I saw them (one on the hood one on the fender) so they couldn't have sat there for any longer than 8 hours. Yet this is what's left and I can't get it off no matter what, I tried everything, AIO, SSR medium, rubbing compound, P21S carnauba wax, then I tried some all purpose cleaner, some rubbing alcohol then even some dawn, nothing worked. It's not even a little bit better.

I haven't even gotten my plates yet for crying out loud, what the hell happened?

PS my mouth is still wide open due to disbelief. The worse I've gotten EVER on another car was a circle of tiny dots where the paint was completely "eaten" to the metal, very small dots though so I couldn't even tell unless I stuffed my face into the spot, and that one stayed on the car for more than 2 weeks!

Is there anything that can get rid of this? Or am I screwed?

Were you parked under anything that may have caused it, or just way out in the open?

Did you have any wax/sealant on the car? Some of that bird poop is just brutal even if you have a great LSP applied. Etch marks can be more noticeable on dark colors. It could be bad enough that there is nothing you can do. The polishes you tried were by hand? You may need to work it harder or by machine.

Here's a picture under the sun:

It's harder to notice under the sun, but it's still there.

I just gave the car a good bath, of course it's no help.

I don't think it was egg because of the locations on the car and the pattern, certainly looked like bird droppings. I'm unable to use a PC because I live at an apartment and there's no power outlet in the garage, perhaps you guys can recommend a detailing shop in the east bay area fremont-oakland-richmond? The car's too new for me to just live with it, I really want to get rid of it if possible.

Yeah, that's bird poop etch. I would try some Meg's ScratchX by hand on it. They have a good tutorial over at MOL.

I'm sorry to say, but looks like an etch from bird bombs...Around this time of year, birds will eat small fruit/seeds and naturally, their crap isn't a standard-issue white color. Unfortunately, these types of droppings are more acidic than your normal bird bomb - they can cause quite a bit of damage in a short period of time.
