2 for 40.00? Jeepers.... Sears has these really really really good microfibers, 3 for 10.00, they are only 1 foot by 1 foot but they are real thick, have no lint and they can pick up paintball goo and still wipe my lense's crystal clean without any hazing.... really hard, before I was using clean cloth and alot of lense cleaner to get those results.

I might buy some mf's from sears to see how well they work while detailing.

NeatItems...

I just received 2 large Neatitems MF terry towels that rock 24" x 46". The exact same material as their smaller towels. $37.90 for 2 with shipping included. Just thought I'd throw in another option!

Does everyone get their Big Blue thingy from CMA, or are there other options? Didn't know if I could find it locally or if ordering was the only way. I've been looking for something new to try to replace my chamois.

Check the weave/pattern of the other towels. The 'waffle' pattern of the BB's is what gives them the unique absorbency quality. Also, this type of weave seems to leave no microfiber lint behind (unlike others).

Wow! This is a very interesting thread. Until yesterday, I really hadn't heard much about the Big Blue Towel. So thanks for the info. Laters

Is there anyone here that had used both Big Blue Towel and the Neat Items 24x46" Terry Towel to dry the car? I'm curious to find out whether they both perform the same, or is that waffle pattern on BBT superior?

I have them both. I prefer the big 2 x 4 Neatitems towel. Not sure if it's more absorbent or just bigger. In my opinion, you'll be very happy with either one.

Hey Don2002, I thought you were supposed to be up on everything about micro fibers. Whatta ya doin' with all that money if you're not spending it on new mf items?
