Exclamation A sand truck bombed me

First off.. congrats to the Pats )))

Second, I was driving on a BONE dry highway, nothing but dust on it and there were around 3 trucks side by side on the highway every 4 miles spreading enough salt to make the dry road conditions BAD if you had to stomp on the brakes, it was really stupid.

I had friggin sand chips, like little rocks BOUNCING off of my hood and grille. Keep in mind that I was going a good 35 - 40 mph. I thought I was gonna rip someones head off, there was no need for the sand in the first place.

I inspected my car sevral times, under the gas station lights, street lights and in the middle of the day and I didn't find even ONE chip. My question is ........... does Klasse make some sort of film over the paint, I do have 8 layers of Klasse on my car so maybe it is .001 of a millimeter thick or something. I thought it was kind of weird that these little rocks could bounce off my hood and not cause damage, was I not going fast enough or is Klasse just that good?

It was weird, I was behind these trucks pretty far and these sand stones are flying out of no where just killing me as I see them, I tried to dodge a few but the cars on both sides of me didn't like that. When you see a full size car on the highway dodging invisible deer or whatever they thought with about 1 foot on both sides from me there is only so much you can aviod.
