Join Date: Oct 2001 Location: Half Way There Posts: 711 | I've tried Castrol Super Clean biodegradeable degreaser on tires before and I was amazed at all of the brown filmy gook that came off the tires. It even left a glazed look. I don't know if this a good thing for the tires though because it worked pretty aggressivly. Give it a try if you need a little more muscle for degreasing than Simple Green.

I guess with all that grime on the tires, diluting it is not as effective. | |

I have a big bottle that I used on someone else's tires once, and now I don't know what to do with it. It's bad and it turns the tires gray fast. Any tire cleaner with bleach is bad, unless it has whitewalls. But considering all the white walled tires we see, I have to say stay away from Bleche White. It's the NicSand MF of tire cleaners.
