IBIZ waterless car wash and polish

I saw this guy at the car show in Providence, RI. He was doing his demo on a red hood and said his product penetrates through the paint and levels the surface, filling in swirls and minor scratches. I then looked at the treated and untreated side of the hood, and saw no difference! Their were more swirls in the treated side and little specs(probably fallout, no it wasnt metallic paint ). The guy said your car would never have to be washed unless it was caked in mud and dirt. He said all you have to do is spray it with his waterless car wash (looked like a QD) every week. He then showed that because the waterless car wash was thin in consistency it was 90% cleaner and 10% wax. Then he showed his sealant (which was thick and smelled like carnuba!) and said it was 90% wax and 10% cleaner because it was thicker and it was last 7 months! (yea right). So then he said the system with the car wash, waterless car wash, and sealant was 100 bucks . But if you said kaboodle you would get it for 35 dollars. Two people jumped on it, and then I mentioned to the demonstrator that this product was a gimmick. I then stated how the product still left swirls behind and there was lots of contaminants left in the paint. The guy began to sweat and said that he didnt see the scratches, and then I clearly point out the swirls to him and the crowd saw it. He then began to make fun of me as if i didnt know what I was talking about as the people began to leave his booth . I told him I used Klasse and that it was a true acrylic sealant and much better than any crap he sold. He then told me to leave the booth, and I persisted, lol. After a few more minutes of arguing over his lousy products he threatened to call security. I then decided to look at more cars because my job was done there . BTW, geekysteve, he didnt have a business card so I couldnt get any info. I'll try and find out more so you can see how this product holds up.

I have tried ALL of the IBIZ products. The only one I liked is the Cleaner Wax it's great for the price. I use it when I detail friend's cars and stuff that I don't want to use my Souveran on. It's way better than Meguiars Gold Class thats for sure. Like I said great for detailing friend's cars.

As for the waterless wash and wax stuff I don't like it at all on paint however it is great on chrome exhaust tips and such.

I have had good results with the IBIZ wax. I use it primarily on my show car (300ZX). I don't think its as durable as some of the other products on the market but it is very easy to use. You apply it and wipe it off wet. I bought some of the quick detail/quick wax and I hated it. IBIZ was really good about it and took it back and refunded my money.

I know there are probably better waxes out there. I just really like IBIZ. I guess I need to try some Zaino or Klasse.

HAHAHAHAAH

Those car show gimmicks never cease to amaze me. Stay away from any waterless wash system.....it's scratch city!

No - check out that Perma-Seal thread - those guys are HILARIOUS!

First - they throw a coat of their "patented" wax on a body panel, then, they do what any normal car enthusiast would do.

Light the panel on fire.

About 2 seconds later, they wipe clean the surface - VOILA! No damage - because Perma-Seal's got your back

What next? Kevlar wax, to make the car bullet proof?

The sad thing is that people would actually buy "Kevlar Wax" thinking it would make the car bulletproof lolol..

I bought some IBIZ about a year ago and did a test. I waxed half my car with IBIZ and the other half with some k-mart brand sealant wax (it's was called sonix or something) and I couldn't tell any difference in the looks intially but next time I washed the car the side with the k-mart looked better and felt alot smother than the IBIZ side.
