Can't apply more than 3 coats of Zaino with Zfx?

Another Zaino question.. just wondering why we aren't supposed to apply more than 3 coats of Zfx'dZ2/Z5 in a 24 hour period?

Zaino website says: "Apply no more than three coats of Zaino Show Car Polish enabled with ZFX™ in a 24 hour period"..

I believe it has to do with it bonding properly. After 3 successive coats, ZFX/Z2/Z5 won't bond to the prevous coat until it has time to cure (fully harden). Plus, it could be harder to apply and remove.

The reason is--->

That the surface is so slick, it has trouble bonding to itself. Pretty neat....huh?

After a car wash (towel rubbing), or driving (wind abrasion), additional coats of ZFX will bond much better.

Zaino is truely unabrasives and does not permeate the paint layer but bonds to it and lays on top. Most polish systems that "claim layering" contain abrasives......its the only way those products can bond properly is for those abrasives to provide some "bite" for them to work well.

Correct!

ZFX does provide near instant "cure" time. But, after 3 coats, back to back, I assume the polymers have a hard time bonding or curing without the 24 hour wait. It's kinda like Klasse SG in one respect. If you try tp apply several coats of SG at one time, it gums up and is hard to work with, if I understand correctly.

Basically, Sal knows the limitations of his products. If he says there is no benefit to applying more than 3 coats of ZFX, then I believe him. He's done the testing already, so I have no reason to doubt his information.
