AC Hydraulic Floor Jack

Anyone have an AC HYDRAULIC FLOOR JACK? I am considering purchasing their model DK20Q. The jack looks great from the pictures.

I have both an AC DK20 and a Craftsman 3 1/2 ton jack. I use the AC when I need something low profile, otherwise I generally stick to the Craftsman. They are both great jacks.

Why do you use the craftman over the Ac Hydraulic? Is it more user friendly? Just wandering because I'm also thinking about buying a new jack this winter and was considering the Ac Hydaulic

If a car is too low for the Craftsman, he uses the AC.

Whatever you do, NEVER get under a car with just a jack for support. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS use jackstands. Always. It's not a question of IF the jack will fail - it's when.

I'm looking into possibly getting a jack and jackstands for xmas. My car will be pretty low to the ground come after christmas time (2.4" drop all around in addition to my 1" lower than stock lip kit) so I would like something that can get underneith it like the AC unit. Where can I pick one up? Also, anyone have any suggestions on a good set of jack stands?

I don't think "good" is so important on jack stands. I believe "good" is much more important with the jack!

I use el cheapo jack stands, made in China. I don't think there's much of a chance of them failing. Pretty bulletproof, time-tested design...

A fact of matter, I use a Made in China 2-ton floor jack. It is some tough thing which I use on my MPV and wife' s car (not the new one yet) So are my stands Chinese made. Never failed me.

The jack' s bar is enclosed in a foam tube and the whole body and carrier arm is coated with some "adhesive film" which closely resembles the 3M hood protector film, only much thicker. I love the interchangeable pads which of one is round and the other rectangular with a slot in between. Bother are of heavy duty vulcanised rubber.

The brand is something like "Ding Jang Dong Industries" for all I could ever care... it works, is reliable (I used it almost every weekend for the last 3 years and never let me or my worked on vehicles down) and that' s enough so far...
