Souveran over Zainox20 Hood

After trying to remove some (actually, MANY) stubborn specks (saps?) on my hood that clay bar/rubbing alcohol/PPC failed to remove, it appears that my last choice is to try 3M SMR and kiss my 20 coats of Zaino goodbye. Since it's going to happen, I decided to put a coat of Souveran on the LEFT side and left Zaino untouched on right side and see what happens. Just looking at it straight (as you can see from the pics), I really see no difference. Was going to put 2nd coat of Souveran on but instruction says wait 12-48hrs. Anywayz, I was running around left to right studying at all angles, and yah in certain angle the Souveran part does look more oily hence watery deep shine but ONLY in that particular angle (it does look pretty darn good).

Comparing to the ease of application, I'm very used to applying Zaino in its liquid form (I do have 20 coats of experience), and been the first time using Souveran on HALF of hood only, my own observation is Z is MUCH easier to apply than Souveran, while Souveran MIGHT be a little easier to remove but nothing to be excited about compare to Zaino. If you apply Zaino thin (the way it should), it's not much more difficult (if not just as easy) to buff off.

Of course, my observations is nowhere near scientific and I'm still newbie at Souveran. I'm almost certain that if I apply Souveran to the WHOLE car then it will give a more dynamic visual, but personally for my car that's been treated with Zaino, I would stick to that system and won't bother with carnauba topper again. Unless your car is a garage queen or you are perfectionist, I don't see the point!

EDIT ---- AGH, my intenstion was to post this in DETAILING FORUM. Can any Moderator move this over please? Thanks and sorry for the mistake!
.................No problem! Brad
