Just secured a red and black 997 for detailing....

Just secured a couple new (05's) 997's (red, black) for the next weekend....In the past I have had great luck with the SSR 2.0, Opt SW, and UPP....any other ideas are welcome......
Especially interior products. Whats worked for you ???......I still have time to consider purchasing something I haven tried yet....

I go with your usual polishing steps then EX w/carnauba for your LSP on both black and red. CMW (applied with a finishing pad) also looks terrific on red and black.

The Optimum Protectant is very nice, muted gloss and compatible with vinyl and leather. Nice to use just one product for protecting the interior.

Hi patrick - you lucky devil!

The optimum protectant is nice. I reach for Natural Look - I always get compliments when I do a leather interior. And so easy to use.

The woolite mix I'd also suggest, but you may not need to ""clean"" the interior.

Optimum or any other better spray wax for door jambs etc...

The red is just an exterior detail. She said it has some very minor swirls (uht oh) we'll see. Its only about 6 months old, so i dont anticipate too many issues, and she hand washes with a sheepskin...=)
The Black is only a couple months old, 2500 miles. And we all know if black is neglected, it doesnt take long at all, especially if its been to the corner wash a few times. Again, I dont expect too many issues with either, but we'll just have to wait and see ! The interior just needs a a light cleaning...

Scott, I'll probably go with either UPP or OSW, as these clients are a ways away from me, about 40 miles, but come referred from the same gentleman whos 997 takes the front page of my site (which was UPP aso). So I want to make sure they've got a few months protection, their close to the beach also.....i may have to try the Opt protectant though. I have yet to try the Tire treatment or Protectant....

Wick, picture for sure ! (If I remember) lol.....Ive been getting lazy with the camera lately, and the Fuji I own loves the eat double "A"s.....I may have to take the SLR...

PSL, no security deposit required......

Paul, come on out !!! We'll do them together......

Thomas, I may give the diluted Woolite a shot for light cleaning.....I think the Optimum SW deserves better then door jambs, no ???? I QD'd my truck the other day and then hit it with the OSW. I still cant believe how slick that stuff is......Evenn a week later with some dust on it, its still real slick.....A little too dusty to qd though, we'll wash it up this wknd, and I will re-evaluate slickness.....I REALLY, REALLY like it though.....Im not sure what Im liking better, the OSW or UPP!
