I had a liitle accident while I painted my rear bumper on Sunday, I taped from the top of the bumper up to the top of the trunk and painted my lower rear valence in my brothers back yard and it was a little windy. Yesterday when I went to wash my car I noticed when I washed the back it felt like sand paper, I scratched it with my finger nail in felt it come off, I tried bug and tar remover and it didn't do anything, well maybe a little, and I need some advice on something I can use to take it off? The good thing is, you can't tell it's there from looking at it, it's still VERY shiney. | |

It isn't harmful on your clearcoat or anything but it will strip any wax, glaze or whatever is layered on your paint.

Ron Ketchman told me it was the best thing to use for this type of problem, it poses no risk's, no problems and is not abrasive. If anything I would be scared of using clay, all your going to do is drag the paint particles across your paint.......
