a scratch that won't dissapear...

After I washed and dryed my car yesterday I 've found a scratch on the left side door.
I could barely feel the scratch and it was still in the clearcoat so I took my polisch (Wehrle) and polished the area.
The scratch was still there.
I polished a second time.Still no result, that means it was more difficult to see and to feel the scratch , but it was still there.
I finaly reached for the scratch remover, then again polished the spot. But the d**** thing was still there. The weard thing is that you can't feel it anymore, but in the correct angle it can be seen.

Help...???

Are you using a PC or trying by hand?
If I can't get the scratch out with scatchX - fine-cut or equivalent, I usually can "hide" the scatch using Machine Glaze then Blitz or soveran wax.
You can try fine-cut product with a PC and a cutting pad,, that may help then machine glaze (or equivalent) then your polish and wax

By hand...

I don't have a PC,'cause I'm totaly unexperienced.
In my neighbourhood there's a bodyshop,I'm trying to get a peace of a car to practice on before I try it on my car.
I'm allso a bit scared to rub through the clearcoat thus making it worse.

What products are you using as a topper? You might, indeed, be able to cover it up with a wax or even Klasse.
