Can Use Klasse Paint Sealer over wax.

I am thinking about applying Klasse paint sealer to my black ML. I have old wax on it already but it still looks good. I have been using turtle was.

Can I apply Klasse over the old wax. Or do I have to take steps to remove the old wax first.

thanks

blau

The old wax must be remove for the Klasse to bond properly. Klasse All-In-One has cleaning abilities so it's should remove all the old wax. I would do 2 coats of AIO just to be safe. If you are still worried you can wash the car with Dawn and that will strip all the old wax also.

Hi there Blau welcome to town!

Showroom is sending good info your way. The AIO will remove the old wax but two coatings will not only insure all of the old wax has been removed but it will also make up for and missed or lightly done spots.

Just use the Klasse it's a much better product, it lasts longer and looks better than LG.

The SG removes scratches and swirl marks very well. After about two coats of SG you will really see this. I have a black car so any minor scratches show up pretty easily and SG filled them in. I have about 5 coats on and it looks(looked) unbelievable. After having salt filled roads in our area for the past month I am beginning to notice it is losing its shine after two months. Salt and water are very caustic, especially when heated by the sun on a black car and mixed with road oil, so I do not think SG holds up as well as everyone says against the long winter elements.

You can add layers of SG down the road if you wish to. Klasse SG does NOT remove swirls. It does have some filling properties though, you should try to remove as many swirls as you can before application for best results.
