One step up from #80 and Meg's Polishing pad?

What would be next step up in abrasiveness from Meg's #80 with a Meg's Polishing pad (W-8006)?

- Meg's #83 (DACP) with a Meg's Polishing pad?

or

- Meg's #80 with a yellow Propel pad?

The nice thing about #80 is that you can adjust its cutting ability with the type of pad you're using and still go to your LSP (if worked in properly).

So, I would try #80 with the yellow pad.

#83 with a polishing pad may leave micromarring especially if you do not allow it to fully break down. You may require to follow up with a finer polish.

I'm assuming you're using the PC and not a rotary.

Try the least abrasive way first (#80/propel) and then bump up to the #83 if need be knowing you may have to follow that step with another polish.

If I go with #80 and the yellow Propel, is it necessary to then follow that with #80 and a polishing pad??

My experience with using #80 on propel yellow is no. I doubt would leave micromarring, but judge for yourself after your done.
