Question hood bra damage problem...

This is a problem that I have with my car. Sadly it is so. I had a full nose bra on for most of the summer and even though I took it off when I washed the car, and did everything I could to prevent it from doing damage to my car, my efforts weren't enough. The bumper part is actually ok but the hood bra part did some harm to my hood. I need to get out and take a picture of it but for now perhaps I can explain it and someone can offer some help.

My car is white and the part that was covered by the bra is slightly yellowish. My paint color is more of a yellowish white anyway so I think that my problem was when I put a quick layer of PPG on my car I didn't take the hood bra off and apply it to that section. I had a good reason for that. There are also these yellow stains on the end of the hood. Almost like a leaf or something got up under there and stained the hood. That is why I didn't take the hood bra off. I didn't want to wax that stuff in forever.

I don't know how much damage I've done and I wouldn't guess that anyone could help me figure out what I've done without posting up some pics of it. Perhaps you can tell me if the following things would help:

1. claying the hood. Maybe that would take that little grey line where the top of my bra was off and maybe even the yellow stains.

2. Klasse AIO on the whole hood. I want to get a Porter Cable polisher and do it right. Maybe I could just strip all the klasse and PPG off and the hood will be the same color all over.

3. Using some other paint cleaner with a polisher or by hand. Maybe that will help. These yellow stains where on the bumper too but I was able to get them out with some GS27 scratch remover. I haven't really been able to try that out on the stains on the hood yet.

I know that I need to look into getting a clear bra and all that but they are a little too expensive. I like my Colgan Custom bra really well. I've decided that after I fix this hood problem that I will only put the bra on when either a) my front end starts sagging or b) when I go on long road trips and need it to keep the bugs off.

Any advice on how you would fix hood bra damage like this would be appreciated. I am pretty much open to anything right now since I am going to go all blackfire in the spring so I'm not opposed to stripping all my Klasse and PPG off the hood to fix this. I have the hood bra on still because I don't like the way the hood looks and I don't want anyone else to see it like that. Thanks tons!

I would try a cleaner high in solvents first. Pinnacle Paint Cleaning Lotion is my first choice. Next I would use a fine abrasive like Finesse It. It obviously has leeched into the clearcoat.
