Aquapel Haze

This is not the first time I've used Aquapel and have determined it's not the wiper blades but the product.

While it's great at the water repellency - beading of the water.....it's cause a very hazelike window that I notice when driving in bright sunlight. I don't notice the haze on a cloudy day - mainly in the dawn when the sun is hitting the windshield .

Each time I have used Autoglym glass polish followed by the PPG Aquapel.

Any fellow Aquapel users in here. I'd love to hear your experaince on the product.

I've only used it a couple of times but I don't have any problems with it. I currently have it on my truck and it helps a lot in storms. I just cleaned the window with SIG prior to applying aquapel and it worked great for me.

Maybe it's the resudue left behind from the glass polish?

When I worked at the car wash, we used it. It's very, very common. It should be removed with heat...Maybe put an old terry bonnet on your P.C., and 'polish' it off.

I have used it on many cars/trucks and have never seen what you describe.

I love the stuff; works as advertised.

I usually wash the glass, polish with Autoglym Glass Polish, wipe glass surface and wiper blades with Isopropyl alcohol and then apply Aquapel (it leaves a layer of polyner on the glass to repel water, and I feel it should be cleaned off periodicaly to avoid a build-up of product
