Can you recognize this foam pad?

The following link is the foam pad that recommanded by the local detail shop when I purchased the PC last year. At that time (before discover this great wonderland, AUTOPIA), don't know anything about detailing. Pretty much just told the guy I was looking to remove swirl marks on a black car. He recommanded to use AutoGlym Radiant Wax Polish, PC, Meg DA backing plate and THIS PAD. Question: What kind of the pad is this?

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/angele...bum?.dir=/82f9

Yesterday I used this pad with Autoglym RWP. Polishing with PC's speed range from 4 to 6. Light swirl marks were gone. During the process. I compared the P21s PCL with Sonus DA blue pad vs. RWP with this black pad. The PCL combo hardly removed any marks while this RWP combo definitely behaved stronger than PCL combo.

I also think this pad is from 3M. The texture of it is not as hard as Sonux DA orange pad.

Please tell me what you know?

Got it. It looks like I have Super Soft dense foam pad, VEL731,for polishing and final waxing. Too bad they don't offer bigger image for close up look, but it seems like a match. thank you.

It looks just like my Sonus DAS pads but with a red backing. Should be a very nice finishing pad.

Just curious. How can you tell the pad is good or not? I am very new in machine polish. (Just bought rotary 9227C ) Did a bunch of reading about rotary and seems like a lot of people stick with LC.

The only Sonus pads that I don't have is Yellow (cutting pad) and white one. Have not see the black one offer by Autopia.
