Excellent paint job on this car-too bad the little details like the engine bay, door jams, etc were not up to par with the rest of the car.

Still it is a pretty awesome car!

Just one more. The reflection down the side of the car. I used Meguiars Hand Polish and High Tech Yellow #26 (liquid).

Wow looks great! Very curvaceous body. I like the bottom photo the reflection on the rear fender of the corner of a building makes the building look like it has and S curve on it.

the license plate says it all....

let me ask you...when you detail an older car like that....with like"real metal" in it...

does it feel different than all the modern cars...with their plastic everywhere...i mean does the product get soaked up differently onto the paint...do u have to do the detail diffeerently than with a modern car....

Floni-I think the paint over the body, whether it be plastic, aluminum or steel makes the biggest difference as to how polishes and waxes will react. This car obviously has a modern paint job, but I detailed a 57 Edsel once, and it had a majority of the original paint. The main issue with that is the paints then had lead in them and were much harder. Definately had to really work the paint with some aggressive compounds to bring it back.
