Gelcoat

Just curious if any of you have pced gelcoat. I workd on gelcoated carbonfiber today and it seemed to be more difficult than all around clear. The damage looked minor nothing that vm and a green pad couldnt handle but I was wrong. I swaped to pp and a oarnge pad and then went back to vm and the green and it was near perfect except for the deep scratches. It took quite a bit of pressure on the pc to get the results I got.

My experience is that clear coat is quite a bit softer than than most gel coats.
