One more clay bar question

I had a question that got lost in the cost/benefit analysis of the clay bar thread --

I have a Mother's clay bar but it seems awfully small. are you supposed to stretch or out a bit before using it?

Thanks

No need to stretch it out prior to using. The only time you'll stretch it is when the side you are using gets dirty and it's time to stretch and fold the dirty side together.

They go a long way for their size... only need to toss it out when it gets too dirty to use.

Break it in half....use one piece and stash the other away. This way if you drop it or something you've havent wasted the whole bar.

It is not the size of the bar that matters but the motion! Back and forth with plenty of lube!
