Detailing a boat

I am going to help a friend clean up his boat on Sunday, I plan on using the Klasse twins on it after we clean it up.
Anyway, the boat is in pretty good condition, a little oxidation on the top, but the main problem is there appears to be a rust colored layer on the portion of the boat that sits in the water all the time.

Any suggestions on the best way to remove this without damaging the fiberglass?

You might want to clean the gel coat real good first depending on its condition with something a little harsher than AIO. For the water scum stains, I use a product called ON/OFF. Use rubber gloves and paint it on, and it removes just about any stain. Follow up with your KLASSE twins....

On my boat I use Zaino, on my dad's we use NU FINISH. NU finish is a great one step product for a boat. IF there is some chaukyness or oxidation, you will have to start with some 3M abrasives first to give the sealant something to BITE into and bond...........
