Auto body shop again . . .

My car may be going back to the auto body shop to fix a problem created by an auto body shop. I've been told that to fix the problem, a portion of the car will need to be repainted. If that happens, should I let the auto body shop rotary buff the area after it is clearcoated? Or, should I tell them to just spray it and leave it and I will buff it?

The last time it was at an auto body shop, they buffed out the repainted area which left tons of swirls, they took off the overspray with a rotary which cut the paint in several areas (not to mention more swirls), they damaged the weatherstripping around the doors, and they scratched up the trim pieces around the window.

I guess I'm concerned that if I mess up the buffing, I got no one else but myself to blame, but if I let them do it, I can get it fixed. The dealer paid for the last one and it is going to pay for this one. I wanna keep the dealer on the hook until I'm satisfied.

This is not my first choice as I'm negotiating to get a refund on the car.
