Need opinions of QEW with Wax mix

Hi, today I was talking to the parking attendant (he works part time detailing new cars before they go out to customers). I showed him a big old gallon of QEW. He said I dunno, so I told him pick out a car in the garage that is dirty and I wash it and show u.

So he picks out a black infiniti that he knows the parker won't be mad if he sees a clean car (Normal people would love that but I know you autopians would go ***, who cleaned my car, LOL). He also said if it does what you think it does then the parker won't mind. So i did my thing, 30 mins later I was done. Car look clean but need polish and rewax the works. I not going to do that. That is too much work.

So he says that the stuff doesn't have any wax or something to make it shinner. I said yeah but you can mix it with wax. (he a dealer guy, as long as it looks good now I guess it good enough). So I told him thursday I wash my car in the garage and show him the difference. Now this is where you guys come in. What you guys recommend to mix with QEW to make it nicer? I read and did searches but didn't get a clear list of wats good to mix. I would prefer something cheaper and easy to find in the stores. I was thinking of NXT but I don't know if that will mix well. Thanks

Just a thought...

How about Eagle One Wax-As-U-Dry? Some (including myself) have found that it makes a pretty good QD. Why not try adding to your QEW wash?

Relatively cheap and it's intended use is on a wet car anyway. Might be interesting...

I would second that idea maecrispy. WAUD is an awesome product.
I've heard of a few people on here mixing QD's with it, not sure about wax though.

Why would you say yeah, just mix wax in with the QEW if you are not 100% sure?? Thats a quick way to look like a goose if you cant back up what you have promised.
Under promise and over deliver!

Having said that, I think Scottwax adds Mothers Showtime QD to the QEW. Someone else may be able to eloborate further though....

Hmm I am not really looking to experiment. I keep that in mind. Anybody did this yet?

I mixed QEW before another time with mothers and it came out good and another time with BOS. Just wanted to know what you guys are doing. Also read some threads with mixing other products like Zanio, etc. So i know it is definiately do able when I said it. I didn't experiment enough though to know what is the "best" or "better". I never used WAUD or NXT so that is Y didn't really want to try that the first time to show him if any adverse effects come from it. I am looking to deliver more than what I promised. Sorry I forgot to post tat yes I did it before.

to be safe wash each panel with qew then spray a panel with waud and dry off with a waffle weave in one hand buff towel in the other should look good ,triedtry it on my wifes blue 87 tercel
this way you dont compromis the integrity of each product.griots says add and oz or two of their liquid carnauba wax to a bucket of wash soap

I add an ounce to the QEW bucket if the car hasn't been waxed in a while, otherwise either half an ounce or none (if the car has been very recently waxed).

I believe Scottwax also mentioned a tip to add your leftover 1st edition Wolfgang qd to the QEW in a post. For once he didn't have pictures, just said "Trust me."
