I must be doing something terribly wrong, I have tried Viper MF towels and MTs on my windows and always get a lot of very fine fibers all over the glass, fibers that are diffiuclt to remove. So I ordered two Viper glass cleaning micro-fiber towels. I tried one right our of the package and there is the lint all over the place. I washed the other one by itself and tried it and again fibers all over the place !! They are very fine short fibers that really stick to the window. I know there have been several posts about MF towels lately, but I am trying a towel made for galss cleaning and it's terrible.
    Any suggestions or similar experiences?

This seems to be a common complaint...

I have a miracle towel and it works great. I don't know for sure, but so many of these towels look so identical I can only guess that they come from the same supplier. If that is true, it seems like quality control is a big issue....or there is a HUGE # of them out there as a result of a bad batch..........

Maybe guys like david B, TIM aka SNAKE, or Yo Steve can shed more light on this..............

I have been having problems with MF towels from CMA as well. I recently (last 2 months) ordered 2 MTs, and one Viper Glass MF, and all three lint really bad.

Perhaps there was a bad shipment somewhere? Or is it just technique? I've tried dry with Clear Pearl, and Clear Vision, and damp with both, with slightly better results with a damp MT, but then I can't follow up with a dry towel.

Using them to remove product does seem to work better ie. SMR, FI2, AIO, and KSG. No lint there.

I have nothing but great things to say abot the green viper towels. Occasionaly, on windows, VERY small amounts of lint, but thats becaus e the window is pretty rough and pulls out the weaker fibers. Other than that they are awesome.

Oh yeah, try this, too keep those windws as smooth as the paint. I found that if you AIO the windows and clean them using a QD and a MF, the windows are so smooth, you dont get any lint.

People seem to be having problems with the newer towels. I have had similar problems with new MT on paint. Even after 4 or 5 washings it still leaves lint, not as much but it's still there. But, I have some of the older MT, and they leave no lint at all.

Try washing them a few more times, they seem to get better with each washing.

    Good Luck!!

My Vipers and MT's are about 6 months old and I have not had any linting problems. At this point, I am concerned about adding more to my collection. I hope that this was just a QC issue and that it has/will be resolved soon.

Got my MT from the Tacscar Klasse bundle and I didn't have any problems with the MT removing SG. But when I used Final Inspection I got a bunch of those fibers.

When I use these towels no lint on th glass but I get it on the window seal fibers. Pain is butt to remove but they stick to the fiber seal wipers like glue.

I end up using tweezers to pick them out.

Try claying your glass first you may just have rough spots and as someone wrote the weaker fibers break free and grab onto the window for their dear life not wanting to leave your car.
