are 7.5" pads too big for the pc

I am looking to get some more pads for my pc and rotary and like the velcro backing on the 7.5 and 8.5" pads better than the ones on the 6.5". So does anybody think that the pc can't handle this. I am worried about the pc bogging down because of the extra surface contact and the slight weight difference. Anybody ever tried the 7.5" pads with the pc?

I've tried them and I didn't really like them. Yeah, the PC seemed to bog down a bit more, and the vibration was a little worse.

But note that some people really *like* the 7.5 pads on a PC. It's gonna be another one of those personal preference issues.

I use them with every detail with the 6" counterweight.

They are good for the hood, roof, and trunk and any large body panels like on SUV's.

I use at speed 5 and 6 and wear mechanics gloves that have cushion, support and vibration dampening.

It cuts down on the complaints that people have with the larger pads.

I don't like them on the PC. Actually, I don't like them on the rotary either. I prefer the smaller 6 1/2 inch pads and I like flat pads better than variable contact pads.
