UPDATE - One more coat of KLASSE on my DAD's Caddy-->

I washed the car today and observed water sheeting on top surfaces and limited beading on the sides. The car has AIO x 1 and KSG x2 on the car. It has been a few weeks since then. Slickness was just ok, and shine was still good. Gloss has not dropped to any noticable extent, but slickness and water beading seemed to drop over the past few weeks.

Today I applied another coat of KSG. This time I followed Showroom Lincoln's tips. I applied a thick coat of KSG, and let it dry on the car an hour. Holy S#$%, it was a PIA to buff off. I tried using some QD'er to aid in removal, but all it did was kind of gum up the residue it smeared around the surface, some. Eventually, it all buffed off clean. I know others claim to have better experiences in removal, I just have not found the proper technique yet, I guess.

Well, the car looks good, perhaps a bit more reflective. As a test, I added some automagic "WET WAX" carnuba topper to one side of the car. That side looks "Wetter", with a deeper, darker, bluer shine, while the side with just KLASSE looks more reflective. The carnuba side is much slicker as well.

Well, I am going to wait a week and wash, and I will post my on water beading and gloss. I am out of KSG, so this is the last coat I will be putting on unless the results satisfy me enough to actually buy some.

I use the damp towel trick, I think it works better than the QD.

The wax on top of the SG really makes a difference. I put a second layer of Blitz on the Lincoln today. I have AIOx2, SGx5 and Blitz x2 on it.

Thanks for the update on you dads Caddy, I will be looking forward to how it comes out.

I'm with ShowroomLincoln

on the damp towel trick. I have tried it with a really thick coat of dried SG that dried for about 24 hours. I used a damp MF and it came of easily and the remaining paint was really glossy. I still have a few more coats of SG to go with that amount of drying time and I am allowing one week between coats ot make sure it cures. Then I will apply some Souveran.

I am also hoping to hear how it comes out. If you want to give Blitz or Souveran a shot on this caddy, send me an e-mail.

I have AIO x2, SG x5, and x2 Blitz on my car and It looks great after a month. I think that the x2 of AIO has something to do with it, and allowing each coat to cure to at least 24 hours.
DK, sounds like you should try a coat of Blitz over top of the SG and see how it looks.
