Menzurna FP leaves buff marks with PC...any clue?

Ok, it's probably my technique, but using the PC for the first time tonight, put a couple coats of IP/yellow pad and went down great. Took all swirls and spiderweb marks out. Using the PC on 4, the FP/white pad leaves buff marks down the hood, almost like streaks. It seems extremely hard to buff out also. Maybe I'm buffing it too long but it only seems to take30-45 seconds before it glazes over.

I used AIO/white pad and that removed the buff marks but I'm wondering why the FP leaves buff marks? Also, my hood still has quite a bit of sap stains and bird dropping marks in it. Should I go to something more abrasive than IP?

Lots of questions, I know, thanks for you help.

AIO is a cleaner and if it removed your buff marks then the buff marks were not in your clear coat but the marks were in the polish. I do not use Menzurna but I have heard that Menzurna can be difficult to remove.

There are two ways to attack bird dropping. one is with a polish the other is by using a solvent prepsol, mineral spirts, bug and tar remover or acid like vinegar. Be sure to wash with a ph balance car shampoo if you use a solvent or acid cleaner.

good luck

BTW: you can always try clay.
