Putting Favorites In Signature. Good Idea?

What do you think about this idea.

In most car forums people put their modifications in the signature field so everyone can see what they have done to their vehicle.

Would it be a good idea to put our favorite detailing items in the signature field so we can compare stuff and exchange ideas?

These would be mostly acronyms as to keep it quick. Most of us know the major companies and their products anyway. Newbies I'm sure will come up to speed quickly.

I'll give it a try first. Here are some One Grand examples :

OGBW - Blitz Wax
OGSP - Special Touch paint Cleaner
OGOG - Omega Glaze
OGSO - Show Off
OGW&W - Wash & Wax
OGWS - Water Sprite synthetic chamois
OGPP - Plastic Polish
OGCP -Chrome Polish

Zaino enthusiasts will probably have it easiest. ZFX Z2 Z5 etc.

I prefer the freedom to put what you want in signatures like brash, obnoxious, jingoistic sentiments.

Does this idea violate any forum rules?

I thought you maybe meant naming products in the sig field was a forum No No.

I think most can get their abbreviated product acronyms in two lines and still have the other line for whatever they want.

Like Bill said, as long as the sig isn't more than 3 lines long then you can put as many product names in there that you want (as long as you aren't pimping them because you are a distributer or something. )
