Any reason not to use Clearkote QS on tyres?

I was reading the 'Poorboys Spray n Wipe on tyres' thread and I am thinking - can you use Clearkote QS on tyres, and if not - why?

I am hopefully getting some this weekend and will post my review

If it can be used on the bodywork, windows and plastic, why not tyres as well?

Btw - how good is it on the windows because at the moment they are streak free and clean but if it really makes a difference, I will sacrifice my proposed economical approach of only QD the bodywork

I think Ive tried QS on everything but tires.....Why dont you guinea pig it for us Autopians !!! and let us know your findings !
QS works very well on windows...Youll find they roll up and down easier too...Kind of like putting RainX on your windows, watching the wipers glide....

Spray and Wipe is not really a QD, it is more like QEW in a bottle. The S&W is probably only cleaning the tires but not adding anything else. I just used S&W and it is awesome, but you should follow up with a QD, like Quikshine.

I'll try it on one of the rear tyres and I'll be posting my review Sunday evening

I've never tried it on tires. I've used it on interior vinyl though...leaves a very muted sheen, very close to neutral with just enough 'glow' so you know something is on it.

It is water based, so I am sure it won't hurt the rubber, I just don't know if it will add any shine.
