Do i have all the steps covered for a complete exterior detail??

im pretty new to all this detailing stuff and surprised as to how much more i could have been doing over the years. ive always just washed with a dishsoap and followed with commercial waxes. i enjoy taking care of my cars and im excited about getting started doing it the right way on a corvette i recently purchased. so with that said.......i would like to know if i have all the bases covered for a complete exterior detail from start to finish. this is what i had in mind...

start with a wash such as P21S
use a clay bar
wash again
apply coat of AIO
finish with Souveran
NOTE: i understand product preference may vary per person, i would just like to know if what i listed above will give me everything i need for a complete detail or if im missing some steps. Thanks- Ja

Everything? no. It may be everything you need depending on the condition of your car...does it have swirls that you want to get rid of? You'll have to get a swirl removal product if you want to remove them.

Also, other stuff besides paint is important...trim and tires should be dressed, and I'd put klasse aio on your wheels too, but skip the souveran.

I hope that gives you some things to think about, but even as-is, it won't be a waste of time.

# start with a wash such as P21S
# use a clay bar
# wash again
# use a swirl mark remover
# possible wash or quick detail, but not necessary, IMO
# dress trim + tires before or after all waxing, your choice
# apply coat of AIO
# finish with Souveran
