When I first joined Autopia, I posted a couple of pix of the white XJ6C in the gallery, and now you've inspired me to add one of the red one:

The white one is in great condition. Showed her in 3 JCNA Concours last fall, and won the national championship for class 11 with a 99.71 average. (Lowest score was at the 1st Concours, in St. Louis, before I discovered Autopia, when I still thought ArmorAll and Turtlewax were great products.
) Best of all, she's a real head-turner; as I drive around town, I often laugh at the people getting whiplash as I go by.
Got the red one in November. She looks pretty good in the photo I posted. What you can't see there is the paint (heavily oxidized), bad bondo over the arches, vinyl roof badly scratched and split. It'll be a long time before this baby takes a concours trophy home. But wow! Does she ever run!!!
And she would actually score quite high in authenticity. (Still has the original radio with 8-track and
it works!) And ya gotta love all that chrome.
