Yup. We've got a few things like that. Personally I wouldn't ever put something on my car that was going to last forever except for paint and clearcoat. We've got products that make 5 year claims on their durability too, but I don't know that it has ever been proven. Not many people keep an automobile for 5 years in the US so even if it is true, there aren't many people who keep the car long enough to tell you. lol There are some teflon sealants that make claims like this and from what I've read, its not worth the expense. Give me my nice Klasse any day of the week.

Wow someone is my singapore forum said it came from the US ...

I am getting Glare Professional Polish from the manufacturer in USA directly. The price is S$120. You can't get it locally, you can only get it as a service package at cheapest S$488. Glare singapore won;t sell you as a product.
The bottle size is 12oz. And it can be used on 2 to 3 saloons.

See the description:

A non-stick high-gloss all-weather sealant. The finest polish for your car, airplane, boat, motorcycle, glass, stainless steel, fiberglass, chrome and RV in the market. Filters out UV rays, turns to glass on and within your paint. Contains Glassplexin™. Bonds molecularly to your paint. The most revolutionary polish ever developed. Beyond 22nd century technology. Lasts up to 18 months.

Drop me an email at **@hotmail.com

Expect arrival time is 4 to 6 weeks. Could be faster.

Anyone heard of this?

Personally, I wouldn't really want anything that lasts that long. I enjoy waxing my car so much anyway. Even if it did last, I would just keep adding more coats reagardless. Detailing is fun!

This is true ejant,
I've heard similar stories about fuel injection designs that get very high MPG. Like 80-90 mpg. I don't know if these rumors are true but if it were, the patent would've definitely been purchased by the fuel industries. There is just too much money to be made on these products.

Its like the cure to cancer. I'm sure they have it, but there is too much money in the treatment. Its called a 'cash cow'. lol The detailing chemical industry is pretty tight I think. They wouldn't let something that lasts forever actually hit the market. Lots of products claim to last forever, but they don't. Its not possible to do.

But 1 thing surprising is that they have a 18mths warrenty ... they used a device I heard to measure the shine .. if it falls below a certain percentage ... they will do it up again for you lolz

Wonder how they give the warrenty ...

Actually come to think of it ... when MicroFiber came out .. people were asking who would pay $5 for a towel that can be used over and over again ...

Perhaps this is the start of a new trend like MF lolz

hehehe...I did a review on this stuff a couple years ago..assuming its the same stuff...sounds like it and it was called Glare.

The title of the thread was "Glare Beware"
OMG! BAD NEWS! It was like trying to remove cooking oil or something like that from the finish.
