MF's on interior window tint.....

Is there any reason not to use MF towels on tinted windows (window film)....?

The only restriction I know of on window film is not to use ammonia based cleaners. I don't use anything stronger than a solution of water with a few drops of soap mixed in.

????\

Thanks......Bill

Lulter,

I use a micro fiber towel and Plexus plastic cleaner on the interior of my tinted windows. This combo works great!

Cheers,
My Black 7 Series

Dust fFrst

Luster,
I have found (by default) that it is a good idea to dust the surface of the tinting film fefore washing it. This way you are not grinding the dust particles into the surface. I use one of those interior Cal Dusters for this. Also, this is not a place to use the lower quality MFs. Window tint is really easy to scratch so tread lightly young man. Hope you can learn from my mistake.
Scott

I usually just spray some water on my tint and wipe it down with my MF towel. Then I buff again with a dry MF towel. Works great and no scratches.

The best I've found is Plexus with a suede MF. Leaves the tint absolutely flawless.
