Clay Magic or Mother's clay kit workwell. I know I have seen Mother's at Walmart of 13.87. Clay magic may be available at your local Autozone, or look into a local paint shop.
I actually use
Meguiar's QD for claying. I don't like the whole car wash shampoo mixture because it contains a little too much lubrication for me and the clay is made finer and the finish is left not as smooth as if used with QD.
As for the engine, stick with the Ef cleaner/degreaser. It should be strong enough. (This is based upon my experience with Eimann Fabrik wheel and tire cleaner, stuff is strong!)
