I just finished detailing my truck before I took my wife Camping with our truck and trailer. We camp at a horse ranch, and take the truck up into the hills for fishing.
When we got back, one of the Ranch hands came over to chat about how the fishing was. He took the can of Pepsi he was drinking, and placed it on the hood of my truck!!! You know, a flat surface for can storage!!
Well, I can not remember much as I think I had a mini stroke! My wife said that my face went totally white(blood pressure), and looked as if I was ready to attack the guy!
Yup! It is a sickness!!!! I still cringe over that pop can!!!

i was complaining to my friends about all the swirls on the car.
and when they just use the old dirty tshirt to dust off the cars, i would cringe.
quite dissapointing all those expensive cars, and they havnt even been driven in the weather yet, but they have swirls.
arghh | |

It just goes to show that its not the elements that cause swirls all the time. A high percentage of our own swirls are probably user error. It kind of hurts to see the swirls in my car that I blame on the weather knowing that I was probably the one who put them there and not the salt on the roads.

Very nice exotic cars, all parked along Brand Blvd, under the sun. I used to enjoy this show a lot more before finding Autopia..... BlkZ28, you are absolutely correct!!

HOW MUCH DIRT CAN THEY GATHER? so why do u need to polish it every 30 minutes? They arent getting any cleaner.. All u are doing is causing more damage to the paint (swirls.. etc) DO an excellent job the first time, THEN LET IT BE! at least until the end of the day

Gives the car more reflective area so you get those twinkle spots from lights and flash bulbs. A twinkle, sparkly car is a eye catcher for the main stream public. “Oh, it sparkles like a diamond.”

One guy leaned on the roof with his elbow and then sat in the car. When he got out, his heel was on the painted sill as he missed the area with the kick plate. Another guy used both hands and pushed on the hood! I looked immediately to see if he was wearing a ring. I almost cried!
